Applications can only be submitted if you agree to our funding guidelines. Please read them carefully.
Application Deadlines
Project Funding:
Applications for projects commencing no earlier than the second half of the year (from July onwards) may be submitted until March 31.
Decisions regarding these applications will be made by the end of May. Applications for projects commencing no earlier than the following year may be submitted until September 30. Decisions regarding these applications will be made by the end of November.
In exceptional cases, earlier reviews by the Board of Trustees are also possible.
Multi-Year Funding:
Applications for multi-year funding—commencing no earlier than September of the same year—may be submitted until June 30. Decisions on these applications are made by the end of August.
Funding Mode
Project Funding:
Each applicant may submit only one application per deadline.
Each applicant may receive funding for only one project per calendar year.
Multi-Year Funding:
Each applicant may submit only one application per deadline.
Each applicant may hold only one active multi-year grant at a time.
Applications
Applications may be submitted in German or English.

Applications must include the following documents: a project description, a schedule, and a budget and financing plan.
Your application will be reviewed following the respective submission deadline. If your application complies with the guidelines, you will receive a written acknowledgment of receipt from us.
Should any changes subsequently arise regarding the project planning, project partners, or financial plan, please inform us of these as swiftly as possible.
Decisions regarding funding are made by the Foundation's Board of Trustees. Meetings take place in May and November. The decision will be sent to you in writing.
Funding
Should you receive funding from the Forberg-Schneider Foundation, you – as well as any potential cooperation partners – commit to acknowledging the support provided by the Forberg-Schneider Foundation in all project-related media. The corresponding logo can be found at the bottom of this page in the "Downloads" section.
For the purpose of featuring the funded project on the Forberg-Schneider Foundation website, we kindly request that you send us visual material as well as a brief project description (1.000 characters) shortly after receiving confirmation of your funding award.
Furthermore, within three months of the project's completion, a final report – including proof of expenditure, press clippings, and copies of any printed materials (preferably in digital form) – must be sent to kuratorium@forberg-schneider.de.
In the case of multi-year funding, please additionally submit interim reports at the end of each funding year.
